This Little Piggy is Proud To Use Biodegradable And Compostable Disposable Packaging.

Our packaging is made from corn starches, which are a readily and annually renewable resource.

This takes less energy to manufacture, is not made from toxic or pollution-causing sources and can be composted to reduce the amount of waste generated. Essentially, these products are carbon neutral.

Polylacticacid (PLA) is the technical term for our corn starch-based containers and is a fully biodegradable, compostable corn-based polymer that looks and feels just like clear petroleum-based plastics.

Refrigeration

Our foods are prepared fresh from the farm without preservatives and therefore should be refrigerated and consumed or frozen within 3-5 days of purchase.

Microwaving

Unfortunately, our PLA packaging is not microwaveable. Simply transfer the food to a microwave-safe dish and warm.

Freezing

Freezing is easy in our packaging. Just put it right into your freezer! The food will pop right out when the packaging is twisted.
